Our Offices and Therapists
Christine Willeford has been in private practice since 1998. She truly believes that with every challenge there is potential for a silver lining of growth. In addition to seeing clients, Christine provides opportunities for new therapists who are earning hours towards licensure to experience the private practice setting. Currently she supervises Amy Keala, Associate MFT.
Online Sessions
For the time being, getting to your session is easy! Many people wonder if online therapy is effective. While meeting in person is our preference, we've found telehealth sessions to be very effective as we make safety a priority during the COVID19 pandemic. In fact, some of our clients have expressed that they would like to continue meeting online after we return to meeting in person. Another advantage is that we are able to expand our geographic area of service. If you are a current resident located in California, we can meet with you online.
Sit Back and Relax
Located in the Historic Benicia Arsenal area, our offices are designed to make you feel at home. Snuggle up in a soft blanket, kick off your shoes, play with a fidget toy, have some herbal tea. It's all going to be ok.

Christine's roomy office can accommodate individuals, couples and large families. She also has a room specifically dedicated to sand tray and art therapy.

Sand Tray Therapy

We offer sand tray therapy*, an effective form of therapy for all ages. During sandplay, the psyche is allowed to express itself in conscious and unconscious ways. It can be a nonverbal approach to gently working through traumatic experiences. By creating small micro worlds, the client can resolve conflicts and obstacles and move towards a greater acceptance of self.

Christine's office has an extensive selection of figures and large sand box (pictured to the right). Amy's office is equipped with a smaller sand box and figures.
